Empowering Local Futures
Through Art & Entrepreneurship

Welcome Aboard the Ship!

The Solarium Foundation’s number one priority is to design systems and solutions that empower the individual and family unit through art and entrepreneurship. There is a lot under the hood, but at our core is recognizing the family unit is the foundation of society and sustainablity can be achieved on a hyper-local level through supporting fundamental community art and business collaboration. We invite you to reach out and discover the potential synergy we can create together. While we are primarily focused on Missouri and the Ozark communities, through the 2026 Centennial of Route 66, we do collaborate and consult on projects outside of this. Get in touch, let’s brainstorm!

Mission

The Solarium Foundation empowers families, the youth, and communities through art, storytelling, and entrepreneurship. A shared connection through creativity leads to sustainable local growth and communities united around supporting and incentivizing the family enterprise. With Missouri’s tourism and economic development directly tied to the strength of its local communities, we spotlight art and entrepreneurship as the critical path to a thriving future.

Vision

We envision a future where every community becomes a center of creativity and innovation. By uniting local talent, heritage, and entrepreneurial energy, we create sustainable ecosystems that nurture creativity, drive economic growth, and reconnect families to the land and to one another. Our work—through film, community events, and educational programs—is designed to bring this vision to life.

Teamwork

Teamwork makes the dream work. We are like a crew on a ship, with everyone playing a vital role and creating synergy. We combine and leverage our individual strengths, offset eachothers’ weaknesses, and create shared opportunities to advance our missions. Collectively, we have a responsibility and commitment to our hyper-local communities to work together, learn, grow, and move forward as one united force.

We’re currently seeking high school and college students in communities along Historic Route 66 in Missouri between Kirkwood and Rolla in 2025. Next year in 2026 the 100th anniversary of Route 66 will kickstart the recruiting from the rest of the corridor—expanding east to St. Louis and west to Joplin. This is a community operating system and entrepreneurial accelerator, a toolkit for towns and neighborhoods to identify and develop strategic resources for their own youth and creative talent. We aim to connect students across Missouri in an overarching regional, student-led film and publishing company.

The youth is our past, present, and future—the most important resource we have to protect and develop. Working together with that core mindset is the key to hyper-local, sustainable communities and a strong family unit, the origin of team.

Start Your Journey

The family unit is the foundation of society and the hyper-local community. A generalized global attention span creates resistance to the personal discoveries within our direct circle of influence, locally. Attention to the land we live on, its carrying capacity, and how we can work smarter not harder is the task at hand.

Think Global Local Act Local. We should be focusing our energy on our hyper-local environments. The path of least resistance is to focus attention within the direct influence of the community we live in. It is the families and the youth that are the most valueble resource and everyones’ future. There is clear room for improvement in every way.

Regenerative Growth: Going beyond sustaining to actively replenishing and enriching resources, relationships, and ecosystems.

What it isn’t.

Bridging the gap.

The Transition
